  1. What are the benefits of turmeric?

    Top 5 benefits of turmeric:

    Anti-inflammatory properties – Turmeric and its medicinal compound CURCUMIN have been shown to reduce overall inflammation.  Inflammation is linked with many bodily disorders such as cardiovascular disease, Alzheimer’s, autoimmune disorders, diabetes, arthritis, and many other degenerative diseases. 

    + Antioxidant properties - Turmeric CURCUMIN is a very strong antioxidant.  Turmeric’s antioxidants have shown to promote healthy cardiovascular function.  It prevents cholesterol damage, by reducing triglyceride and cholesterol, both large factors in preventing development of cardiovascular diseases.

    + Anti-ageing properties - Antioxidants inhibit the production of free radicals that damage our cells, and in theory affect the way we age

    + Digestive support – Turmeric CURCUMIN has been shown to promote gallbladder function, which produces digestive enzymes, vital to our digestive system

  2. Is KALIA safe?

    KALIA has been tested and classified safe to be consumed by the National Pharmaceutical Regulatory Agency (NPRA) at the Malaysia Ministry of Health (MMoH).  NPRA carries out analytical, pharmaceutical, microbiological and pharmacological tests, to ensure the safety, efficacy and quality of its registered products.  The registration process took almost 12 months!

    KALIA is now registered with NPRA, and approved to be sold/distributed to the public by MMoH. 

    KALIA contains a perfect balance of ingredients completely safe for consumption.  All ingredients are sourced from quality-assured raw materials. KALIA is manufactured in a certified facility using Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). 

  3. What is KALIA made of?

    KALIA is made of 80% organic turmeric with 20% fenugreek.  Turmeric, the King of Roots contains more than 300 naturally occurring components including Beta-Carotene, Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C), Calcium, Flavonoids, Fiber, Iron, Niacin, Potassium, Zinc and other nutrients. The medicinal compound in turmeric, linked to its most highly touted health effects is, CURCUMIN.

    CURCUMIN has anti-inflammatory properties, and is also an antioxidant to clear free radicals.  It regulates blood flow, stabilizes blood pressure, eases joint pains, increases digestive enzymes, lowers risks of heart disease and so much more.  Naturally skin becomes tighter and clearer.

  4. Why have you decided to include fenugreek?

    Fenugreek also contains beneficial compounds, including fatty acids and flavonoids to manage a host of inflammatory diseases such as arthritis and gout.  This is due to the abundance of antioxidants found in the seeds of fenugreek. 

    Fenugreek is also able to reduce the cholesterol level, due to the presence of steroidal saponins which inhibits the cholesterol absorption in intestines and cholesterol production by liver. 

    If you have been battling high level of cholesterol in your blood, KALIA may be the answer.

  5. What are the side effects of taking KALIA?

    None of the ingredients in KALIA have been identified to have any short term, or long term negative side effects.

  6. How long do I need to take KALIA?

    KALIA can be taken as part of your daily routine, as long as desired.  It is intended for long term use.  The longer you take, the more benefits you will experience.

  1. I have been taking KALIA, but I haven’t felt anything. What is the issue?

    The experience may not be perceptible right away, but the major benefit of consuming KALIA regularly will be that your immune system will be stronger and the presence of illnesses will be lower.

  2. Is KALIA vegan?

    KALIA is made of organically sourced turmeric and fenugreek, packed in vegetable capsules

  3. Is KALIA Halal?

    KALIA is currently undergoing the Halal certification process conducted by the Department of Islamic Development Malaysia (JAKIM)

  4. How many KALIA do I take daily?

    We recommend that you take 2 capsules daily when you begin your regimen

  5. When is the best time to take KALIA?

    Preferably in the morning after breakfast

  6. Is it okay to take KALIA without food?

    Ideally, KALIA should be taken with food.  CURCUMIN, the key component of turmeric, is fat-soluble, which means it absorbs better with food.

ORDERS

  1. What method of payment do you accept?

    We currently accept all of the main credit cards and debit cards – Visa, MasterCard, and banking or online transfers via major banks, as well as prepaid e-wallets such as Boost, Touch&Go.

  2. Is my credit card/debit card information secure?

    Yes! We use an encryption service to process your payment. Your credit card and debit card information is hidden from us, and we do not store your credit card and debit card information. We use SenangPay payment secure encryption service to process all payments.

  3. What is KALIA’s CANCELLATION policy?

    After you have clicked “Add to cart”, your order begins to process and you cannot cancel or change your order.  Our system is designed to fill orders and get them on their way as quickly as possible. 

    However, if you still want to cancel or change your order (once you receive them), you can do that.  Upon receiving your order in the mail, simply return any items you do not want by following our Return and Refund Instructions. 

    Please note that cancellation of orders is only allowed for ONE-TIME or BUNDLE & SAVE purchases.

  4. What is KALIA’s RETURN policy?

    Our return policy last for 30 days from date of purchase.  

    Please note the following exceptions to our return policy:

    • Returned items must not be opened and must be in original packaging
    • Returned items must be in the same condition that you receive it and undamaged in any way
    • Discounted items, or items on promotion/sale are final, and cannot be returned and refunded

    To initiate a return, please send us a request to hello@kalia.com.my. Please include your order number, your full name, shipping address and reason for return/refund, and we will do our best to accommodate you.

    Please be informed, that you will be responsible for paying your own shipping costs (for returning your item).  Shipping costs are non-refundable.  If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

  5. What is KALIA’s REFUND policy?

    If 30 days have passed by since your purchase, we cannot offer you any refund or exchange. 

    Please note the following additions to our refund policy:

    • We will give refunds only if the returned items have not been opened or consumed
    • We are unable to refund you if the returned items are damaged, or have been opened, under any circumstances
    • We are also unable to give refunds on orders where incorrect addresses have been given.

    Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item.  We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.  If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

  1. How much is shipping?

    All prices on our website do not include courier/delivery charges.  Courier/delivery charges will automatically be added during checkout.

    The shipping/courier/delivery charges is:

    • flat fee of RM6.80 for West Malaysia; and
    • flat fee of RM14.50 for East Malaysia.
  2. How long will it take to receive my order?

    Orders are processed in batches (first buy, first serve basis) and picked up by courier service by 5pm, Monday to Friday.

    Orders received on Fridays (after 12pm), Saturday and Sunday will be processed on Monday.  An email with the tracking link will be sent once the order has been processed.

    Your order/package should arrive:

    • West Malaysia: within 2 to 4 working days via Ninja Van or DHL eCommerce.
    • East Malaysia: within 4 to 6 working days via Ninja Van or DHL eCommerce.

    Please note that estimated delivery items are to be used as a guide only and commences from the date of dispatch.

  3. What if nobody is at home to receive my order/package when it arrives?

    The courier service may try to deliver your item up to 2 times. 

    If nobody is around to receive the item at the 1st attempt of delivery, courier service will call customer to arrange re-delivery.

    If calls from courier service are not answered, and 2nd re-delivery fails, items will be returned to our warehouse and you will be charged a courier/delivery charges fee for 3rd re-delivery.

  4. How do I track my order?

    We will send an email once the order has been processed, and it will include a tracking link to track your order.

  5. What do I do if my order never arrived?

    First, check your order status on your tracking link (you will need your order number and email address).  Often your tracking link will provide some helpful information. 

    If your order are nowhere to be found, please email us at hello@kalia.com.my with your order number.  We will track your order down.

    At KALIA we are aware, that all information collected on our website must always be transferred securely, stored safely and will not be given out to third parties.
